The Frescobaldi family is intimately linked to the history of Tuscany itself. With over 700 years of wine making in the region, the family still artfully crafts wines with the utmost respect for tradition and the land.
This fruit for this wine comes from the Vignoble Mormoreto Pelago. It is a delicious blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot but with a touch of Petit Verdot.
Evil dark deep ruby red in color with intense aromas of ripe blackberries & black cherries, cacao, dried mint, almond paste and something vegetal, kind of like root vegetable.
The palate is dense and spicy, almost a little sandy in texture… The taste buds are covered in deep dark chocolate and stewed berries. Great balance between acidity and tannins and a sumptuous long finish.
Delicious blend of grapes coming together to create a memorable wine... Here is another beautiful collaboration...
